The Shepherd’s Hands Foundation of Central Ohio was established in 2023 with one clear purpose: to serve the most vulnerable among us with compassion, dignity, and hope. We believe that everyone deserves safe housing, access to nutritious food, and opportunities to build a stable and fulfilling life.
Our programs are designed to meet urgent needs while also addressing long-term challenges. Through housing support, financial literacy training, workforce development, and community integration, we empower people to move from crisis to confidence.
Our mission is to provide compassionate support and essential services to elderly individuals and people with developmental delays by ensuring access to safe, affordable housing, nutritious food, and emergency resources. We are equally committed to empowering adults ages 18 and up through workforce development, financial literacy, and skills training that foster independence, dignity, and opportunities for a brighter future.
We envision a Central Ohio where no one is left behind, where every person has access to housing, food, and the resources they need to thrive. By building a foundation of stability, we create pathways to independence and stronger communities.
Danielle Hague founded The Shepherd’s Hands Foundation out of a deep commitment to helping those often overlooked. With a heart for service and a vision for change, Danielle saw the urgent need to create a safe and supportive space for elderly individuals, adults with developmental delays, and low-income residents.
Her leadership reflects a belief that compassion is action. By combining practical resources with personal care, Danielle and her team are helping people not only survive but also build brighter futures filled with dignity and opportunity.
The Shepherd’s Hands Foundation takes a holistic approach to care. We do more than provide housing or aid. We create communities of support that include case management, daily living assistance, job training, and opportunities for social connection. This approach ensures that those we serve have both immediate relief and long-term solutions.
From volunteering to donating, there are many ways to extend your hands to others. Together, we can transform lives and strengthen Central Ohio.
